- Advisor/Counselor and later Assistant Head of Department in the Sector for Multilateral Activities; participated in UN GA sessions; member of delegation at International Conferences devoted to international security, disarmament, Non-Aligned Movement activities, peaceful uses of nuclear energy, chemical weapons ban, etc; member of delegation to the Ninth Conference of Non-Aligned Countries in Belgrade in September1989, 1986-1990;
- Minister Counselor, SFRY Mission to the European Community in Brussels, 1990-1992;
- Participated in the work of the Conference on the Former Yugoslavia in the Hague and Brussels, 1991-1992;
- Chief of Cabinet of Mr. Dobrica Cosic, the first President of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, 1992-1993;
- Chargé d’Affaires and later Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia to the Republic of Cyprus, Nicosia, 1993-1999;
- With the rank of Ambassador, appointed Deputy Head of the Bilateral Affairs Sector;
- Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, Head of the Bilateral Affairs Sector, 2000-2001;
- Ambassador in the Federal Ministry for Foreign Affairs later MFA of Serbia and Montenegro 2001-2004;
- Designated to the Group of Ambassadors charged with special and ad hoc affairs in the MFA of Serbia and Montenegro, 2004;
- President of the National Commission for the Implementation of the Chemical Weapons Convention, appointed by the Council of Ministers of Serbia and Montenegro, 2005;
- Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Tokyo, Japan, 2006-2011;
- State Secretary of the MFA of the Republic of Serbia, 2011.
