Note:

For holders of biometric passports of the Republic of Serbia, the legal provision on a visa- free entry into the RF for the period not exceeding 30 days is applicable, with the necessary registration with the RF police within 3 days.

NOTICE: Nationals of the RS, who hold regular biometric passports, may enter the Russian Federation only at the border crossing points opened for international transport, which means that it is not possible to enter without a visa from the Republic of Belarus, as the two states concerned are members of the federal state and that there are no border crossing points between them.

Holders of blue passports may cross the border and stay in the territory of the RF with a Russian visa only (tourist, work, student etc.) obtained at the diplomatic or consular missions of the RF in Serbia and abroad (entry with a voucher or an invitation letter notarized by the Embassy of Serbia is no longer permitted).

The existing visas in the passports of the FRY and the Republic of Serbia, issued at the Serbian Embassy or at the Secretariats of Internal Affairs of Serbia before the new Agreement entered into force, will be in effect 90 days from the date of the new Agreement entering into force, that is until 10 September 2009 at the latest for those citizens already staying in the RF.
