Political relations:

The relations between Serbia and Myanmar are traditionally good and friendly.
On 19 May 2017, Acting Assistant MFA Ambassador G. Aleksic visited Myanmar in his capacity as Special Envoy of then Prime Minister of R. Serbia A. Vucic. On this occasion he met with State Counsellor and MFA Ms. Aung San Suu Kyi to whom he delivered the Serbian President's letter to the President of Myanmar U Htin Kyaw.

Economic relations:

In 2016, the trade in goods amounted to EUR 3.2 million, of which Serbian exports amounted to EUR 1.7 million, and imports from Myanmar to EUR 1.5 million.

In 2015, the trade in good amounted to EUR 5.22 million of which Serbian exports amounted to EUR 4.42 million, and imports to Serbia to EUR 807 thousand.
