The Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in London commenced the official programme of marking the 180th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Serbia and the United Kingdom, with the lecture "Deeds, Not Words: A Story about Doctor Elsie Inglis", held by Zvezdana Popovic, a representative of the Serbian diaspora.
At the beginning of the event held at North Kensington Library in London, Ambassador of Serbia Ognjen Pribicevic said that Serbia would always be grateful to doctor Elsie Inglis and other British physicians and other medical staff for their engagement and dedication during the First World War.
