The Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Buenos Aires and Jewish Association "DAIA" co-hosted the book presentation of "Excerpts" by Mirjana Ruzic, on the Embassy premises.
In her memoir book "Excerpts", Argentine-Serbian writer Mirjana Ruzic gives an account, from a girl's perspective, of the benefaction of her family which provided the Vasic (Weiss) family with shelter by hiding them in their cellar, during the German occupation of Belgrade.
The guests were addressed by Serbian Ambassador Jela Bacovic, President and Vice President of "DAIA" Association K. Sabat and A Indih, Argentine writers Alisia Solda Massini and Mariano Dorola, and by the book's author herself.
In addition to the Ambassador and diplomatic corps members, the event was attended by the Holocaust Museum Director and Deputy Director, members of the Serbian diaspora and the Jewish community in Buenos Aires. The news of "Excerpts" book launch were published on the official "DAIA" Association website and the Diplomatic News Network.
