Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the United States Đerđ Matkovic received Belgrade University Law School students Luka Aleksic, Aleksandra Andjelkovic, Milica Skaro and Balsa Stefanovic at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Washington, D.C. The law students have come to Washington to participate in an international public law competition.
Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, gathering competitors from some ninety countries from around the world, is organized between 9 and 15 April in Washington D.C. by the International Law Students Association. This is the oldest and most famous international moot court competition involving a simulation of a case before the International Court of Justice.
Ambassador Matkovic wished students success, expressing his hope that Serbian students would continue to participate in this prestigious international competition in the years to come, too.
