Republic of Serbia welcomes the Third Summit between leaders of the Republic of Korea and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea

MFA RSThe Republic of Serbia welcomes the Third Summit between President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in and Supreme Leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Kim Jong-un held in Pyongyang, demonstrating an indisputable progress made in the relations on the Korean Peninsula since the historic Panmunjeom Declaration was adopted on 27 April 2018.

The two sides' wisdom, good will and efforts to achieve peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula through dialogue and negotiations are worthy of every praise and merit worldwide support.

Confident that the Pyongyang Summit has further affirmed the new era in relations between the two Koreas, the Republic of Serbia, as a true friend of both countries, welcomes this new step towards full denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, achievement of lasting peace and all-round progress for their citizens under the newly adopted Pyongyang Joint Declaration.
