ENTRY REGIME FOR CITIZENS OF THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Citizens of the Republic of Serbia may enter Barbados, but they need to fill out a form when entering and leaving, at the latest 24 hours before their trip. The form can be found at and submitted through this website www.travelform.gov.bb. A negative PCR-test result issued no more than 72 hours earlier is required. If a traveller has no test result to show, they will be administered the test at the airport.

Travellers arriving from high-risk countries without a test result will have to await the result at the airport. Travellers from medium-risk countries without a test result will await the results of their test in their accommodation. Travellers from low-risk countries without a test result who have not been travelling to high-risk countries within 21 days, may provide a negative test result no older than 7 days. The degree of risk for countries is determined in accordance with the World Health Organization’s weekly list of the number of infected persons. The above also applies to transit travel.

 

ENTERING AND LEAVING THE COUNTRY

Holders of a Serbian passport do not require a visa for a stay of up to 30 days.

 

SOCIAL SECURITY AGREEMENT

No social security agreement has been signed.

 

USEFUL INFORMATION

HEALTH SITUATION — Healthcare is better than in other countries in the region. Particular attention is directed to the presence of the following healthcare issues: Zika virus, diarrhoea, chikungunya and dengue fever. Travel insurance is necessary. Current information on the health situation in the country can be found on the World Health Organization website: https://www.who.int/countries/brb/.

SECURITY SITUATION — Barbados is not a dangerous country, but standard precautions are recommended, such as avoiding unlit spaces, avoiding shopping for jewellery and similar items in the street, walking in groups is recommended, etc.

TRANSPORT — Public transport is by bus, taxi and private vans, and is mostly safe. To drive in Barbados, citizens of the Republic of Serbia need to have their national driver’s licence and to obtain a local, temporary driver’s licence. The local temporary driver’s licence is issued on request and based on the foreign (Serbian) driver’s licence. Driving is on the left side of the road.
