Berlin: Ambassador Janković meets State Secretary at the German Federal Foreign Office Andreas Michaelis

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Berlin Snežana Janković met with State Secretary at the German Federal Foreign Office Andreas Michaelis and discussed with him the most important issues of bilateral relations between the two countries and current international issues.
During the meeting, the importance of further progress of Serbia in the process of European integration was emphasised, and Ambassador Janković thanked for the continuous support of Germany and advocated the opening of new clusters in the negotiations. Regional cooperation was one of the topics, as well as the overall situation in the Western Balkans.
Both sides emphasised the importance of continuing successful economic cooperation, considering that Germany is one of the largest investors in Serbia, whose companies employ over 73,000 workers.
State Secretary Michaelis also pointed out the potentials of cultural cooperation, especially emphasising the important fact that Novi Sad holds the title of European Capital of Culture this year.
