Seoul: Ambassador Grbić presented his credentials

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Korea Nemanja Grbić presented his credentials to President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in, thus officially taking over the duty of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to that country.

After presenting his credentials, Ambassador Grbić conveyed cordial greetings from President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić to the President of South Korea, and pointed out Serbia`s firm commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation, especially through intensifying political dialogue at the highest and high levels, as well as through further developing cooperation in the field of economcs, culture, education, science, and information and communication technologies.

Ambassador Grbić emphasised that he was honoured to represent Serbia in the Republic of Korea, a country that achieved impressive political, economic and social development after the Second World War and the Korean War, which could serve as a model for successful development to countries around the world. He pointed out that several Korean companies were already successfully operating in the Republic of Serbia, and underlined that Serbia remained open to the arrival of new Korean investors and was hoping for a further increase in the total foreign trade in the years ahead.
