Sofia: Ambassador Jović at the European Youth Boxing Championship

At the European Youth Boxing Championship held in Sofia from 11–21 April, Serbian male and female boxers showed exceptional fighting spirit, skill, chivalry and love for their country.
In high competition, Serbian competitors won one gold, one silver and two bronze medals. Sara Ćirković, a member of BK “Obilić 1389” from Mali Zvornik, won a gold medal, Rastko Simić a silver medal, and bronze medals were won by Marko Pižurica and Dragana Jovanović.
Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Bulgaria Željko Jović, was encouraging our athletes all the time, and at the final, solemn ceremony, he personally presented a gold medal to our Sara, who was unanimously declared the best competitor of this championship by a unanimous decision of the judges.
