Wellington: Ambassador Stefanović meets the New Zealand Parliament Speaker and Deputy Speaker

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Australia, Rade Stefanović, met with the New Zealand Parliament Speaker, Trevor Mallard, and the Parliament Deputy Speaker, Adrian Rurawhe, during his stay in New Zealand, covered on non-residential basis.
In an open and cordial conversation, determination of both Parties to improve bilateral cooperation, and intensify political dialogue and mutual contacts, was emphasised. In this regard, it was pointed to the importance of establishing contacts and exchange of visits by Parliamentarians of the two countries.
Furthermore, it was assessed that there are good opportunities for improving economic cooperation as well as cooperation in the education and sport fields; also, notable Serbian diaspora in New Zealand is an important potential for improving overall cooperation.
