nju delhi_3132016Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to India, Mr. Vladimir Maric, attended the ceremony at the Presidential Palace in New Delhi, on 28 March 2016,where President of India Pranab Mukherjee conferred the "Padma Shri" award on Prof. Predrag Nikic, founder and President of the Serbian Yoga Federation and the International Society for Scientific Interdisciplinary Yoga Research. Prof. Nikic was one of this year's recipients of this award. Prof. Nikic visited the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia on the same day and informed Ambassador Maric of his work more extensively.

slovacka aktivnost_dkp_1532016On 11 March 2016, an exhibition titled "The Uniqueness of Kovacica" opened in an art gallery in Prievidza, Slovakia, under the auspices of the Ambassador of the Republicof Serbiain Slovakia. The exhibition consists of paintings by Pavel Hajko and Pavel Cicka, who belong to the middle generation of affirmed painters from Kovacica. The Ambassador of the Republicof Serbiain Bratislava, Sani Dermaku, opened the exhibition in the presence of Mayor Katarina Macháčková, senior representatives of the Region, and over 150 guests and numerous representatives of the media.
