Political consultations between Serbia and Latvia

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia held political consultations in Belgrade with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia, focusing on matters related to European integration.

The Serbian delegation was headed by the Acting Assistant Minister for the European Union, Ambassador Miloš Todorović, while the Latvian delegation was led by the Deputy State Secretary, Ingrīda Levrence.

The consultations covered a wide range of topics, including cooperation in multilateral forums and security-related issues.

It was concluded that there is significant potential to further enhance bilateral cooperation, with both sides expressing readiness to intensify dialogue and collaboration in areas of mutual interest. An overview of the current state of Serbia's European integration process was presented, along with a discussion on further steps to accelerate progress.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia expressed its appreciation to the Latvian side for its continued support of the European Union enlargement policy.
