Bilateral Political Consultations between Serbia and Kazakhstan

Bilateral political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan were held in Astana.

The delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia was headed by the State Secretary Damjan Jović, while the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan was led by the Deputy Minister Arman Issetov.

The traditional friendship between the two countries and their shared commitment to strengthening overall relations were reaffirmed.

Discussions covered key issues in the field of political cooperation, exchanges of high- and top-level visits, and the further enhancement of economic ties and investment cooperation. The interlocutors also addressed regional interactions between Serbia and Kazakhstan, as well as opportunities for joint engagement within international organizations.

State Secretary Jović expressed gratitude for Kazakhstan’s continued support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia and underlined the importance of hosting the International Expo 2027 in Belgrade.

Both sides emphasized the need to deepen bilateral cooperation and to further intensify the exchange of high- and top-level visits.
