Jovanović confers with the Ambassador of the French Republic to Serbia

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the level of development of bilateral relations across all fields, as well as with the exceptional dynamism of political dialogue at high and the highest levels.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the situation in the region and current global developments, with particular attention devoted to opportunities for cooperation in the multilateral arena.

State Secretary Jovanović spoke in highly positive terms about the recent, very successful visit to Serbia by the French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Jean-Noël Barrot, and took the opportunity to thank France for its strong support to Serbia on its path toward European integration. She also expressed satisfaction with France’s announced participation in the
Specialized Expo 2027 in Belgrade, noting that it would provide additional impetus to joint activities of the business communities of the two countries.
