Đurić with Spencer on further strengthening of police cooperation

Washington – Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the United States of America, Marko Đurić, met with Assistant Director of International Operations Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Charles Spencer, with whom he discussed further strengthening of police cooperation between Serbia and the USA.

Ambassador Đurić acquainted Spencer with the current security situation in the Republic of Serbia and the region, emphasizing the commitment and dedication of our country to the fight against all types of crime, both in the country and in the world.

"By intensifying cooperation with the US Federal Bureau of Investigation, as well as our European partners in the field of combating high-tech crime, terrorism and organized crime, Serbia is taking the front lines in the global showdown against individuals and groups from criminal structures. In this way, we show a serious and responsible approach, and we prove that we are a stable international partner in preventing all types of criminal activities", Đurić pointed out.

The conversation also confirmed the mutual readiness to expand the existing good cooperation between our and American competent authorities to the area of combating financial and corporate crime, as well as the area of education and exchange of professional staff.
