Political relations

Bilateral relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Principality of Andorra are assessed as good, but remain substantially underdeveloped. The only issue affecting relations is Andorra’s decision to recognise the unilateral declaration of independence of the so-called “Kosovo” on 8 June 2011.

A new phase in bilateral relations began with the official visit of the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, to the Principality of Andorra on 29 May 2026. In addition to being the first official visit from the Republic of Serbia in 16 years, it was the first-ever visit at this level.

The then Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Vuk Jeremić, visited the Principality of Andorra on 4 October 2010.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Kingdom of Spain is accredited to the Principality of Andorra on a non-residential basis, with residence in Madrid. The Principality of Andorra covers the Republic of Serbia on a non-residential basis, from Andorra.

Economic relations

Economic cooperation is very limited in scope and is based on foreign trade of modest volume and a narrow range of goods.

In the period from January to June 2026, total trade in goods amounted to EUR 1.19 million, of which Serbian exports accounted for EUR 1.17 million and imports for EUR 0.025 million (+2.94%). Serbia recorded a trade surplus of EUR 1.17 million.

In 2025, trade in goods amounted to EUR 714,000, of which Serbian exports accounted for EUR 489,000 and imports for EUR 225,000, representing a decrease of 43.11%. Serbia recorded a trade surplus of EUR 264,000.

Bilateral agreements

One bilateral agreement is in force:

A joint communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Principality of Andorra, on a non-residential basis with the seat in Madrid, was signed on June 1, 2007, in New York.
