Political relations
Bilateral relations are friendly and with no open issues. Regarding the appeal for aid by the Bahamas with the aim of recovery from the consequences of Hurricane Matthew, the Government of the Republic of Serbia has adopted a Decision on Sending Humanitarian Aid in November 2016.
Economic relations
Registered imports during 2020 amounted to only 1,000 euros, as well as during 2019.
Bilateral agreements
- The Extradition Agreement concluded between the Kingdom of Serbia and Great Britain/Bahamas was signed on 6 December 1900;
- The Agreement between the Government of SFRY and the Government of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas on the further implementation of the Convention regulating mutual legal aid and running proceedings in civil and trade affairs was concluded in London on 27 February 1936/The Bahamas, was signed on 1 September 1977 (International Agreements No. 8/1979).
