Political relations
Bilateral relations are on the rise, characterised by the positive dynamics of political dialogue and mutual interest in improving all forms of cooperation. The Republic of Serbia is also dedicated to activities in regional organisations where the Commonwealth of Dominica enjoys full membership - the Caribbean Community and the Association of Caribbean States, representing a complementary communications channel and creating opportunities for further development of relations.
The Prime Minister of Dominica R. Skerrit visited the Republic of Serbia from 2 to 5 February 2019, while the DPM and MFA at the time I. Dačić visited the Commonwealth of Dominica on 30 October 2018.
Economic relations
During 2020, 7 thousand euros worth of imports were registered. There was no registered trade of goods in 2019.
Bilateral agreements
- Agreement on cooperation in the field of tourism between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica, signed on 4 February 2019;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs of the Commonwealth of Dominica on friendship and mutual cooperation, signed on 29 October 2018 (The Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia, No. 1/2019 – International Agreements);
- Memorandum between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica on cooperation in the field of agriculture, signed on 4 February 2019;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Republic of Serbia and the Commonwealth of Dominica on cooperation in the field of higher education and scientific research, signed on 4 February 2019.
