Political relations
Bilateral relations are friendly and free of outstanding issues, characterized by positive momentum in political dialogue and a mutual interest in enhancing all forms of cooperation, particularly following Dominica’s decision in 2018 to suspend its previous decision to recognize the so-called “Republic of Kosovo”. The Republic of Serbia is also committed to engaging in activities within regional organizations of which the Commonwealth of Dominica is a full member, namely the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and the Association of Caribbean States (ACS). These organizations represent complementary channels of communication and create opportunities for further development of bilateral relations.
Ivica Dačić, then First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, visited the Commonwealth of Dominica on 30 October 2018.
Roosevelt Skerrit, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica, visited the Republic of Serbia from 2 to 5 February 2019 and on 18 and 19 April 2024.
Dr Vince Henderson, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Business, Trade and Energy of the Commonwealth of Dominica, visited the Republic of Serbia from 19 to 23 August 2024.
Economic relations
According to data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, total trade in goods with Dominica in 2025 amounted to EUR 1 thousand and consisted entirely of imports, while exports from the Republic of Serbia were absent.
