Political relations

The political relations between Serbia and Singapore are friendly, and although they are insufficiently politically developed, there is a stable tendency to improve overall relations.

So far, there have been no meetings at the highest level, and former MFA Vuk Jeremić paid an official visit to Singapore in May 2012, when he met with the senior officials of Singapore (MFA, Minister of Transport and Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee of the Government of Singapore for Defense and Foreign Affairs).

On the occasion of marking the 60th anniversary of the First Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement, Director of International Organizations at MSP Singapore Ms Lynette Long Li Shen led the Singapore delegation at the Commemorative Meeting of the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries in Belgrade on 11-12. October 2021.

 

Economic relation

The value of the bilateral trade between Serbia and Singapore in 2022 amounted to 33,1 mil USD (5,5 mil USD Serbia’s export).
