Ambassador Bauer presented copies of his credentials to Morocco's Foreign Minister

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Kingdom of Morocco, Ivan Bauer, handed over copies of his credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita.

On that occasion, Ambassador Bauer conveyed to Minister Bourita the greetings of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Nikola Selaković, with wishes for further improvement of our relations.

Bauer expressed gratitude to the Kingdom of Morocco for its principled position on the issue of the unilaterally declared independence of the so-called "Kosovo".

The ambassador pointed out that Serbia and Morocco are bound by a decades-long tradition of excellent relations, especially noting that this year marks the 60th anniversary of the First Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement held in Belgrade and reminding that Morocco was one of the founders of the Movement.

Bauer emphasized that the bilateral relations between Serbia and Morocco are at an extremely high level, especially at the political level, and said that there was an interest on the part of the Serbian side to work on improving trade relations.

After the talks with Minister Bourita, Ambassador Bauer also met with the Director of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Ambassador Khales Anas.
