Ambassador Đurić presented Nikola Jokić with the flag of Serbia

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the United States, H.E. Marko Đurić, presented the Serbian state flag to Nikola Jokić - this year's top NBA player and the first Serbian to hold the MVP title, noting that Jokić is better known in America than our entire region.
In his photo tweet Ambassador Đurić stated that he conveyed to Nikola Jokić the gratitude of Serbia and the greetings of President Aleksandar Vučić.
"With his modesty, humility and the positive image linked to our people, which he radiates wherever he appears, he makes the whole of Serbia proud. We will always be there for him and with him." Ambassador Đurić wrote.
