Baghdad: Ambassador Balov attends a night prayer at the Al-Kadhimiya Mosque

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Iraq, Uroš Balov, attended the night prayer during the holy month of Ramadan in the largest and oldest mosque in Baghdad, Al-Kadhimiya Mosque.
During the prayer, which was attended by a large number of Shiite believers, the ambassador was accompanied by the head of the mosque, Sheikh Ahmed Al Qadimi.
The Ambassador took this opportunity to visit the holiest places in this mosque, which enjoys the status of one of the most important cultural and historical monuments of Islamic culture, as well as to talk to the worshipers, answering numerous questions about long-term historic and friendly relations between the two nations.
