Baghdad: Ambassador Balov in an interview for Afaq TV Channel

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Baghdad, Uroš Balov gave a one-hour interview to the top-rated Iraqi TV Channel Afaq, which was broadcast in prime time.
In the interview, Ambassador Balov spoke about the long-lasting and friendly relations between the two countries. In particular, the possibilities of improving economic cooperation were discussed.
In addition, the position of the Republic of Serbia in the new political circumstances regarding the conflicts in Ukraine was clarified in great detail, and Serbia's determination to maintain its principles in conducting foreign policy was stressed again; also, the position to insist on dialogue and immediately end the military actions in order to stop the destruction of war and the suffering of the conflicting parties was emphasised.
