Berlin: Ambassador Janković meets with the Chairman of the Munich Security Conference

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Germany Snežana Janković met with Dr Christoph Heusgen, the Chairman of the Munich Security Conference and former Ambassador of Germany to the United Nations.
The two talked and agreed that Serbia-Germany relations were improving, particularly in the field of economy.
Ambassador Janković highlighted the importance of intense political dialogue with Germany, and thanked the Federal Republic of Germany for its support to Serbia’s European integration. They also exchanged opinions on the situation in Kosovo and Metohija.
Ambassador Heusgen informed Ambassador Janković about the upcoming activities of the Munich Security Conference relating to the Western Balkans. He expressed his expectation that he would have an opportunity to host senior officials of Serbia at the next annual conference in February 2023 in Munich.
