Bucharest: Meeting of Ambassador Tomašević with Bishop Lucian

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Romania, Stefan Tomašević, met with the Bishop of Buda and the Administrator of the Eparchy of Timisoara, Mr. Lucian, at the Embassy of Serbia in Bucharest.
On that occasion, the position of the Serbian community, the Serbian Orthodox Church and Serbian shrines in Romania was discussed.
The centuries-old connection between Serbia and Romania and the need for its further improvement was highlighted at the meeting.
After the meeting, the Bishop of Buda and the Administrator of the Eparchy of Timisoara, Mr. Lucian, the Deputy Archbishop, Archpriest-Stavrophore Marinko Markov and Father Varnava, will visit the Memorial Ossuary of the First Serbian Volunteer Division in Medgidia, where a memorial service will be held and a wreath will be laid for fallen fighters.
