Canada: Niagara Falls in the colours of the Serbian tricolour

Last night, Niagara Falls in Canada was illuminated in the colours of the Serbian flag on the occasion of the Statehood Day of Serbia.
At the request of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Canada, the institution responsible for the protection and preservation of the Niagara Falls State Park lit up world-famous waterfalls in the national colours of Serbia on 15 February as a token of respect for Serbia and the Serbian people.
This year, citizens of Serbian origin, who both live and work in Niagara, witnessed the spectacular live event, whilst others were able to enjoy it via the link broadcast live.
As Ambassador Dejan Ralević told Tanjug, the event will become a tradition, which had been introduced by the Serbian Embassy in Ottawa three years ago.
