Canberra: Ambassador Rade Stefanović welcomes the Serbia senior women’s basketball national team

At the Sydney airport, Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Canberra Rade Stefanović welcomed the Serbia senior women's basketball national team, who were to take part in the Women's Basketball World Cup in Australia from 22 September to 1 October.
Ambassador Stefanović welcomed the members of the Serbia national team and wished them success in the upcoming championship.
He emphasised that the women’s basketball national team was attracting a lot of attention in the Serbian community in Australia, and that they could count on strong support of Serbian fans.
Ambassador Stefanović thanked the Basketball Federation of Serbia and the management of the Senior Women’s National Team for their readiness to participate in an event with the youngest players of the local basketball clubs Obilić and Red Star, which would be organised in the upcoming days by the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Canberra.
