Kinshasa: Ambassador Jevtić with the Provincial of the Catholic Order of Jesuits

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Miroljub Jevtić, met with Rigobert Kyingu Misenge, head of the Catholic Order of Jesuits for the Jesuit Province of Central Africa, which includes the DRC and Angola.
In addition to his position of a Jesuit Provincial, Misenge is also the president of the conferences of all Catholic orders in the DRC, including women’s orders.
Misenge spoke about the position of the Jesuits in the religious and political life of the country. He emphasised that they, like the Catholic Church as a whole, do not divide people into citizens and believers, but look at them as a whole, which means that they equally take into account the political interests and spiritual life of devotees.
