Libreville: Ambassador Perišić presented his credentials to the President of Gabon

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Angola Miloš Perišić has presented his diplomatic credentials to President of the Republic of Gabon Ali Bongo Ondimba, thus assuming the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Gabon.
On that occasion, President Ondimba extended cordial greetings to President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, and emphasised the readiness of the Republic of Gabon to renew cooperation with Serbia in all areas of common interest. He invited Serbian businesspersons to visit Gabon and see the potential for cooperation in the fields of agriculture, forestry, and mining.
Ambassador Perišić emphasised Serbia`s willingness to improve and develop relations and cooperation with Gabon, both on the bilateral and multilateral levels.
Ambassador Perišić also mentioned that Gabonese students should make use of the scholarships available to them through the World in Serbia Programme, and underlined the importance of educational and scientific cooperation.
