Ljubljana: Promotion of the Serbian Culture Month in the largest cities in Slovenia

02. Jun 2022.
The first Serbian Culture Month in Slovenia, which started on 1 June with the opening of the exhibition “Musical Friendship ― Davorin Jenko and Stevan Stojanović Mokranjac”, and will end on 20 June with a performance of the play “Crnjanski Symphony”, has been advertised at 50 locations in four Slovenian cities. In addition to Ljubljana and Maribor, the two largest Slovenian cities, the first Serbian Culture Month is also being promoted on posters in the cities of Celje and Koper.

This is the first time that one such event has been promoted in the streets of the largest Slovenian cities, which is helping increase the visibility and positive image of Serbia in Slovenia. In terms of this kind of visibility, Serbia is already comparable to Hungary and Italy, countries which have their own cultural centres in Slovenia.

The posters and other promotional materials for the first Serbian Culture Month in Slovenia are also promoting Serbia's candidacy for organising the EXPO 2027.
