London: Presentation of Serbian food products at the International Food and Drink Event

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in London Aleksandra Joksimović visited the Serbian stand at the International Food and Drink Event, taking place from 21 to 23 March in London.

As part of a joint presentation of the Serbian premium quality food products, the companies Flora doo Ivanjica, Basket Zdravija Hrana - Made by Hand, Damar Confit, Cold Pressok and Matijašević Vineyards exhibited their products at the Serbian stand. The event participants had the opportunity to taste various first-class quality products, such as jams, juices, truffle products, wines, biscuits, and others at the Serbian stand.

In addition to the Serbian producers, the stand was attended by representatives of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the British-Serbian Chamber of Commerce, who participated in the successful organisation of Serbia's presence at the event.

On this occasion, the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in London, as it had been the case before, provided support in the realisation of the attendance of Serbian producers at one of the largest fairs for the promotion of first-class food products in the world.

In the conversation that Ambassador Joksimović had with the exhibitors and many interested guests, the possibilities for presenting the Serbian food industry on the British market and marketing Serbian products were discussed.

On the occasion of Serbia's appearance at the International Food and Drink Event in London, a reception was held at the Embassy for the participants, representatives of the British business community and interested partners. The meeting at the Embassy was yet another opportunity to promote the Serbian food products of exceptional quality, establish business contacts, and consider future cooperation.

In her address to the audience, Ambassador Joksimović welcomed the successful presentation of top-quality Serbian products at the London Fair and emphasised Serbia`s great potential for placement on the British market.

Expressing gratitude once again to the representatives of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the British-Serbian Chamber of Commerce for their contribution to the participation of Serbian companies in the International Food and Drink Event, Ambassador Joksimović invited distinguished guests to taste some of the products presented in London and see for themselves their outstanding quality.

Chairman of the British-Serbian Chamber of Commerce David Landsman especially highlighted the support and engagement of the Republic of Serbia Government, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, and the Embassy in London, as well as of the British Government and the Embassy in Belgrade in improving economic cooperation. Referring to the promotion of the Serbian products at the Event in London, he assessed that they are characterised by organic production and exceptional quality. Wishing that the Serbian products be more represented on the British market in the future, Landsman conveyed the readiness of the organisation he manages to make a full contribution to the realisation of future business arrangements.
