Meeting of Ambassador Jovićević with the Luxembourg Parliament Speaker

The interlocutors discussed bilateral relations between Serbia and Luxembourg in the previous two years, as well as the next steps aimed at improving cooperation between the two countries, which was assessed as very good.

Ambassador Jovićević informed her interlocutor about the current status of negotiations on EU accession, the reforms that Serbia is implementing in the context of the accession process, as well as about the progress in regional cooperation, especially in connection with the "Open Balkans" initiative.

The situation in the region and current foreign policy developments and challenges were also discussed.

During the meeting, the current situation regarding the Covid-19 pandemic was also discussed, including the vaccination process.
