Nairobi: Ambassador Županjevac spoke with State Secretary at the MFA of Kenya, Namwamba

Serbian Ambassador to Kenya, Dragan Županjevac, and First Secretary Jovanka Marić, met with State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kenya, Ababu Namwamba.

The importance of further intensification of political and economic cooperation between the two countries was emphasized at the meeting.

On that occasion, Namwamba expressed satisfaction that, as the head of the Kenyan delegation, he will participate in the high-level meeting held in Belgrade on 11 and 12October, on the occasion of marking the 60th anniversary of the First Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement.

Namwamba emphasized that Serbia and Kenya share the same values ​​when it comes to the territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia, and that Kenya retains the principled position of non-recognition of the unilaterally declared independence of "Kosovo".

During the meeting, Namwamba also thanked Serbia for the donation of 40,000 AstraZeneca vaccines.
