Paris: The opening ceremony of the Naïve Painting exhibition at the Cultural Centre of Serbia

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Paris Nataša Marić opened the "Naïve Painting of the Slovak National Minority in Serbia" exhibition at the Cultural Centre of Serbia in Paris.

The exhibition opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Director of the Chaillot National Theatre from Paris Igor Antić, representatives of the diplomatic corps, the Serbian diaspora in Paris, the newly appointed Centre Director Natali Beljanski-Popović, as well as representatives of the Babka Foundation from Kovačica Pavel and Klara Babka.

A total of 37 works by various Slovak artists were on display, which represent the most significant works of naïve art painting of the Slovak minority from Kovačica. During the opening ceremony, the audience also had an opportunity to see an insert from the "Our Little Village" documentary shot in Kovačica, Paris and the village of Èze, and directed by Ms Maja Martinović and Mr Vladan Jočić.
