Prague: Ambassador Vekić attended the solemn liturgy

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Prague, Berislav Vekić, attended the solemn liturgy on the occasion of the religious holiday the Assumption of Blessed Virgin, which was served by the Archbishop of Prague and Czech lands Michail, together with priests of the temple, Mitrophoric archpriest Roman Hajdamacenka and Serbian priest Srđan Jablanović.

 

After the solemn liturgy, ambassador Vekić visited the crypt of the church, bowed to the Serbian king Aleksandar Karađorđević at the cross and laid flowers, lit the candle before the memorial plaque where 130 Serbian soldiers were buried and laid flowers to the grave of the first Prime Minister of the Republic of Czechoslovakia, Karel Kramar. 

 

Ambassador Vekić thanked Archbishop Michail and priesthood for their care for the souls of the Serbian countrymen and preservation of the memory to important persons of the Serbian history.
