Rome: Meeting of Ambassador Aleksić with MEP Salvatore De Meo

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Italy Goran Aleksić met today with MEP Salvatore De Meo, member of the European Parliament Delegation for Cooperation with Serbia.
In a cordial and open meeting, they exchanged views on Serbia's further progress in the European integration process and discussed numerous opportunities for strengthening economic ties between Italy and Serbia, especially in the field of agricultural cooperation and agribusiness.
Ambassador Aleksić especially presented the progress that the Government of Serbia has made in the process of reforms in the area of the rule of law.
