Seoul: Ambassador Grbić at lunch with the Korean Prime Minister

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Seoul Nemanja Grbić attended a ceremonial lunch organized for a group of European ambassadors at the invitation of Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea Han Deok-soo, on which occasion the country's candidacy for the organization of the EXPO 2030 world exhibition in Busan was presented.

During the lunch and after talking to the Prime Minister, the Ambassador used the opportunity to deliver the letter of invitation to the Prime Minister to visit the Republic of Serbia, which was sent to his Korean counterpart by Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabić, as well as a letter of congratulations on his recent appointment.

He pointed out that a visit on such a high level would significantly contribute to the improvement of general bilateral cooperation, especially in terms of economy and investments, which was recently discussed in Paris at the session of the General Assembly of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) between the delegations of the two countries.

Ambassador Grbić also pointed to Belgrade's candidacy for hosting the specialised EXPO 2027 exhibition, and asked for the support of the Korean side.
