Sofia: Ambassador Jović at the celebration of the JINR anniversary

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Sofia, Željko Jović, attended the ceremonial marking and the scientific session dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR), of which Serbia is an associate member.
In his address, Ambassador Jović emphasized the great role of science in the successful development of every country, as well as in the life of each individual, and pointed out Serbia's readiness to contribute to the development and well-being of all humanity with its scientific potential in the future.
On that occasion, the head of international cooperation of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Dmitry Vladivanović Kamanin, said that Serbia, as an associate member, is highly valued and that its admission to full membership is expected in the near future.
On this occasion, the 65th anniversary of the membership of the Bulgarian Institute for Nuclear Research in this organization was also marked.
