Sofia: Ambassador Jović with the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Sofia, Željko Jović, met with the Bulgarian Minister of Internal Affairs, Ivan Demerdzhiev. The two colleagues discussed the current political and security events in the world and the region.
Minister Demerdzhiev presented the current work priorities of his ministry, with a special focus on engagement in the fight against illegal migration. The two officials assessed the cooperation between the two ministries as excellent.
Demerdzhiev suggested that a bilateral meeting be held soon, where specific agreements would be discussed and made regarding the coordination of further operational engagement of the two ministries at all levels.
