Sofia: First international wheelchair basketball competition held

The Ambassador of Serbia, Željko Jović, attended the opening ceremony of the first international wheelchair basketball competition in the 3x3 format, in front of the National Palace of Culture.
Before the start of the tournament, Ambassador Jović met with our team, the players of BC "Despot" from Belgrade in wheelchairs. On that occasion, the ambassador congratulated the players on their strength, will and courage, and pointed out that they are an example and a guide for all of us on how to face challenges and problems in life.
In addition to Serbia, players from Turkey, B&H, Italy, Russia and Bulgaria also took part in the competition.
