06. Sep 2021.
Serbian associations in the Kingdom of Norway, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Oslo and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, organized classes in the Serbian language for more than 400 schoolchildren.

In the Kingdom of Norway, in the school year 2021-22, supplementary schools in the Serbian language in Oslo, Jessheim, Stavanger and Kristiansand continued to operate, and in addition to the existing, in the new school year, two new schools began operating in Fredrikstad and Sandefjord.

Serbian associations are actively working on the organization and dissemination of educational work, nurturing the Serbian language among the youngest and maintaining the connection with the home country.

Since the founding of the first supplementary school in 2015, the number of students has multiplied and currently, more than 400 students from the first to eighth grade attend classes throughout Norway, and great contribution is given by teachers who are dedicated to their work, often in challenging conditions, working to preserve the Serbian language, history and culture.
