Tirana: Ambassador Vukčević with Archbishop Anastasios

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Tirana Slobodan Vukčević visited the Archbishop of Tirana, Durrës and all of Albania and the Head of the Holy Synod of the Albanian Orthodox Church Anastasios.
In a cordial conversation, Ambassador Vukčević conveyed greetings and good health wishes from His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Porfirije.
The interlocutors discussed about the status of the Orthodox Church, the restoration of destroyed churches and monasteries, the census, as well as about the number of Orthodox Christians in Albania.
Archbishop Anastasios said that the members of different religions in Albania live in brotherhood, with mutual understanding and respect.
