Tokyo: Ambassador Kovač presented credentials to the President of the Republic of Palau

In a virtual ceremony, Ambassador of Serbia to Japan Aleksandra Kovač handed over her credentials to President of Palau Surangel S. Whipps Jr., thereby officially taking office as the first female Ambassador of Serbia to Palau on a non-residential basis, based in Tokyo.
Ambassador Kovač expressed high esteem and deep gratitude to Palau for its position regarding Kosovo and Metohija. She conveyed Serbia's full commitment to strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries and peoples in the spirit of mutual respect, friendship and solidarity, through deepening political dialogue and cooperation in a wide range of areas.
During the ceremony, mutual interest was expressed in the improvement of economic cooperation and two-way trade, cooperation in the field of IT knowledge transfer and intensification of interpersonal exchange.
