Washington D.C.: Embassy sponsors the "Three-Pointer from the Block" humanitarian action

The "Three-Pointer from the Block" humanitarian-sports event, one of the projects of the "Serbs for Serbs" humanitarian organisation, was held for the first time in Washington.
Envisaged as a basketball contest in the rapid shooting of three-pointers, this event aims at fighting failing birth rates and helping socially disadvantaged families with more than four children.
The Embassy of Serbia in Washington, D.C., supported the event by donating new basketballs and, together with "Air Serbia", by donating two return plane tickets on the New York―Belgrade route.
The "Serbs for Serbs" humanitarian organisation was founded in 2005 as a non-profit and non-political organisation that has so far raised eight million euros and helped 2,800 families and over 14,000 children. It was registered in the United States in 2010.
