Yaoundé: Ambassador Jevtić met with the Vice-Rector of the University of Douala

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Kinshasa, Miroljub Jevtić visited the University of Douala in Cameroon, which he covers on a non-residential basis, and talked with Vice-Rector in charge of International Cooperation Guillaume Ecambi Dibongi.

The Vice-Rector said that the Government of Cameroon was oriented towards expanding international cooperation with countries with which Cameroon has not cooperated to a greater extent so far, such as Serbia.

The Vice-Rector expressed satisfaction with the “World in Serbia” programme organised by the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the admission of foreign students to the universities in Serbia, and said he hoped that the number of scholarships for Cameroon would be increased.

The interlocutors agreed that the University of Douala should sign a cooperation agreement with some of the universities outside Belgrade.
