Jovanović confers with the Ambassador of Armenia

The State Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Nevena Jovanović, met today with Ashot Hovakimian, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia, who covers the Republic of Serbia on a non-residential basis from Prague. The meeting was also attended by Hayk Kemchyan, Head of the Belgrade Office of the Embassy of Armenia in Prague.
Both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to further strengthening and deepening political cooperation, as well as cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
They also exchanged views on the current situation in the Western Balkans and the South Caucasus, jointly underlining the commitment of Serbia and Armenia to the respect of the principles of international law—an issue of particular importance in the context of the present complex geopolitical challenges.
