In this regard, particular emphasis was placed on the importance of the Strategic Cooperation Council between Serbia and Hungary, as a key mechanism for enhancing political, economic, and cultural ties between the two states.

The talks also addressed further cooperation within the diplomatic and consular networks, with satisfaction expressed regarding the agreement on the joint use of diplomatic premises, which will contribute to greater efficiency of both countries’ institutional systems and reinforce practical cooperation.

Speaking about good-neighborly relations, the interlocutors underlined that members of the Hungarian national minority in Serbia and the Serbian community in Hungary represent a valuable bridge of connection and a strong foundation for fostering friendly relations between the two countries—relations that were assessed as being at their most advanced level in history.
