Jovanović confers with Romanian Ambassador

In the course of a cordial and open exchange, both sides expressed satisfaction with the high level of relations and cooperation between Serbia and Romania in all fields, while noting that considerable potential still exists for further advancement, to which dedicated efforts will be directed in the period ahead. The readiness of both sides to continue cooperation in international fora was likewise confirmed.

State Secretary Jovanović conveyed her gratitude for the support that Serbia receives from Romania on its path towards EU membership, as well as for Romania’s principled support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country.

It was jointly assessed that members of the Romanian national minority in Serbia and the Serbian community in Romania constitute a particularly important element in fostering the traditionally friendly relations between the two countries and their peoples.
